A quick cache to show you this area. Emma Schmitz Memorial Overlook
offers a stunning view of the Olympic mountains. The land was
donated in 1945 by Emma Schmitz "for park...and no other purpose
whatsoever." There is plenty of street parking available. As always
look both ways before crossing the street, as some people seem to
race down that street. Cache contains a sawed-off writing utensil
FTF Prize 2 Peruvian Soles

We didn't find it, but I suspect that's because this is our first day geocaching and we didn't realize there are magnetic caches.

We could see some pretty nasty weather headed our way, so we didn't hang around to enjoy the view. It was already raining, but it was obviously going to get worse. Much worse. Thanks.

Out with Super GPS today for a super day of geocaching. We started with this one (the easiest) and DNF'd. The day was not lost and we forged on. My 7yr old lasted ALL day. What more could a mother want? We ended up 6 for 7, so we will hold our heads high and be back to correct this one. It was such a beautiful daySmileSmile
