A simple, pleasant walk in one of Seattle's newest parks.

This cache is placed in one of West Seattle's newest parks. With grassy berms, paved walks and a spectacular view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, this is a perfect spot for taking the dogs for a delightful walk. And while there, remember to look for the Solstice Stones.

The best way to approach this park, if you're new to West Seattle, is via Fauntleroy, rather than California Ave. If you'd like a small hike, you can park (or walk/bike in) east or west of the park...if you prefer it easier, there is close parking on the south side, and fairly easy parking on the north side (street parking.)

Enjoy the views!

What a neat little park hidden away in a neighborhood. Cache is almost empty so we TN but left a Staples copy card, with copies still available on it!

We found it, and as noted before, it was empty except for a piece of paper and 2 pens. A good find, but obviously thrashed.

We found the cache but appears to have been muggled. The only contents in the jar were 2 pens. I put in a piece of paper for a log. Too bad..... TFTH!

Cool place, I am new to Seattle and it's nice to see the sights while caching.

We are new at this and tried twice to find this cache, using the original coordinates and the ones we found here on the log and still no luck!

We found the coords but not the cache. We did some loose stone turning as much as possible given the 9 teenager muggles sitting facing the cache area. We will try again later when we get back over to this side to do more caching. Enjoyed the view. Thanks

I am going w/the coords are off, second trip to this park, the first time we had three GPS units, this time I was solo. Coords place you about 25 to 30 feet from cache on one of the dirt burms. A little geo-sense tells you it can only be at one location however. thanks for showing us this nice little park.

Cool park. I have had this cache on my to do list since August. Glad to finally find it.

I didn't realize there was a TB in here so I didn't have one to drop. I did see it has been there for almost a month so I grabbed it anyway.

Easy find and fortunate for us since a fun day of geocaching has left both kids sleeping in the back seat. The coordinates were infact off a bit but we found it anyway. Thank you! #7

Nice and easy cache on the way to Vashon. Coords had me a little off but geo-sense gives the hide away. TNLN TFTH
