A pocket park in West Seattle.

Thanks to the local West Seattle veteran cachers who gave constructive feedback on this one. The posted coordinates lead to the cache but you should be able to find it without the coordinates using just the clues listed below.

This is intended to be a geokid-friendly "treasure" with a letterbox twist. It's also meant to be easily accessible but the gravel trail leading to the site isn't quite up to snuff to say that it's easily wheelchair accessible. Strollers should make it on the trail with little difficulty.

Clues: This cache is in a small park off of Admiral Ave SW in West Seattle. There is a bus stop for the number 57 metro line right in front of the park.

1) From I-5 take the West Seattle Bridge westward.
2) Take the Admiral Way offramp. Follow Admiral Way SW up the hill, through the stoplightsand start down the west side of the hill.
3) You'll find the park entrance at the corner of Admiral Way SW and 51st Ave SW.
4) When entering the park, follow the the right-hand (north-facing) branch of the gravel trail.
5) Follow the trail past the low cement wall.
6) Take 9 steps past the cement wall and look for the small cedar tree on the inside of the trail loop.
7) Two steps to the tree puts you within reach.

Please be careful not to step on any of the plants or other greenery around the hiding spot. The cache is a lock-and-lock style container with camouflage paint. It contains a logbook, a stamp and inkpad, plus room for a few small trade items.

Original cache contents included:
* Four Musketeers geocoin
* origami folding paper
* lucky frog charm
* fish bottle opener
* iron on patch

Note: Please leave the stamp and inkpad in the cache, THEY ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!

Congrats to HMP No Ka Oi for FTF (wow, 25 minutes from publish to find!)

We found the cache and avoided the muggles. We dropped off a fire truck and left our signatures.

Went geocaching with KMonster early in the morning before our flight home to Sacramento. Dropped off the Green Convertible TB. It was a beautiful sunny morning - perfect weather for the convertible TB. TFTC

The last day of our vacation and Cache-Out was getting desperate to place a travel bug in a cache. With no luck finding a cache the previous day large enough to fit a TB, we had to get up early to make one last attempt. Success! Cache-Out turned up his geo-sense and intensified his searching to make the grab while we were verifying our coordinates. A man on a mission. TFTC.

As we were walking toward the park this morning, the sprinkler system turned on. We got a little wet while getting to the cache, but there were no sprinklers in the area where the cache is hidden, so it stayed dry when we opened it. We left a geocoin making its way to Japan in the cache. TFTH.
