A swap meet for your Lego guys, and an easy stroll through Hiawatha park. |
Since a child I have been a Lego enthusiast, and continue to find delight in the myriad types of fun and creativity one can get out of these simple plastic parts.
My intent with this cache is to let other Lego collectors get rid of their surplus minifigs and equipment, in favor of more exotic ones that may not be native to their preferred genre of kits. It is crammed with a variety of accessories, body parts, tools, hats, weapons, etc. that can be utilized/held/worn by a standard Lego figure (and, I imagine some of the other block systems as well) You're looking for a small Pelican container, containing the log book, a small pencil, and all the Lego parts. Use care when opening the cache container, as there is ample spill potential!
***Also note***
The container only fits one way in its hiding spot- (if you're having trouble replacing it, turn it around 180 degrees).
***************
Also included was a FTF prize: A gift card for the Lego store in Bellevue Square Mall (bulk Legos by the cup full, anyone?)
Good luck, and have fun!

We were visiting Seattle with Jobi. Our mission was to make sure they got on the cruise ship - and we were successful. We enjoyed this part of West Seattle. Nice park and the muggle on the bence about 40 feet away left in the nick of time. Thank you. SL

This is a very cool cache, but neither Jackie or I could quite figure out how it fits properly back...it is retrievable and all the parts are there, but it looks like a key part came unglued...I see from J's log that she has probably emailed the CO..TFTcoolC!

A very, very, very nicely done container. Of course, we didn't pay attention to how it was assembled when it came out and so had difficulty putting it back. E-mail to follow! TFTH!

Out doing an EXTREME power run in the very wee hours of the morning so we can make the APE cache our 3K milestone.
TNLNSL. Thanks for the hide.

I was out helping search for a lost Irish Water Spaniel (you can read about it if the blog is still at http://westseattleblog.com/blog/forum/topic.php?id=1842&replies=16).
While searching my gps let me know there was a cache nearby. Found it right away, didn't have any legos, so I took nothing, but left a few scratches in the log book.
BTW, the dog was found shortly after I found the cache, but not by me.

It seems to me that Geocoins tend to vanish from this cache. As of yesterday afternoon there were three Geocoins listed in the cache inventory, and I knew for a fact that two of them were not in the cache, as I had sought them both shortly after they were left here.
So I swung by this evening to retrieve the "Playground Fun Geocoin" that was left here three days ago. To my surprise the cache was gone! At 7:10 PM further investigation revealed that it has merely been moved to a new location. Whew!
Unfortunately the Geocoin I sought today was gone, but I did find two other Geocoins here, so I took them both. I thought that the cacher who left the Geocoins might have taken the other one, but that appears to not be the case, and it looks like yet another Geocoin has vanished. At this point I would discourage anyone from leaving Geocoins or Travel Bugs in this cache.
Missing Geocoins:
1. TB18165 - CENT5's Cache MN Geocoin 2. TB1ZP99 - Playground Fun Geocoin 3. TB2D626 - Norman Kansas Sunshine 2008 Geocoin
Took TB17WF6 - Pac Coast USA Geocoin Took TB24C02 - GeoScooter Geocoin
Left nothing.
