Haldir Visits H.S. Botanical Garden
Haldir was the guardian of the Northern borders of the forest of Lórien during the rule of Celeborn and Galadriel. Many say it is unknown what later happened to him: whether he traveled to the Undying Lands, like many of his Elven kin, or perhaps met some sadder fate. However, I know firsthand that he traveled across the seas to guard the mystical forests of North Seatac Park. He spends most of his time protecting the beautiful Botanical Garden. He keeps a treasure there, where he likes to place his favorite trinkets to share with visitors to his garden. Unfortunately, his trinket box was stolen by evil Orcs, and in its stead he has placed a container of Nano proportions for visitors to his garden to sign. Perhaps you may run into him while searching for his treasure; he is one of the only Silvan Elves who can speak the Common Tongue, so you would have no trouble communicating with him.
Remember, if you find it, to replace his treasure exactly as you found it. He's a bit obsessive compulsive, and likes everything to be in it's proper place. Also please remember to stay on the paths and not trample the plants. Many of the Race of Men have spent hours and months to assist Haldir in his care of the garden. let us show appreciation for their volunteer efforts.

Rest assured - nano or no nano, Haldir's "treasure" is fully stocked w/ beautiful flowers set amid the lilting sound of a bubbling brook and enchanting serenity.
Also rest assured - I replaced the bitsy log (from my handy-dandy cache maintenance stash of plastic bags and extra stray logs), so no need for make a maintenance run on this one. Thanks muchly for luring me to this lovely haven.

WOW! WOW! What a great place. The city of Seatac has done a lot in this area. I only wish I had more time to explore the gardens. I WILL return on a warmer day when more is in bloom with the wife and lil man. Took a min to find the cache 'cause I misread the hiint and spent time searching the bench. Then I reread it and there it was. so long and thanks for the cache..

Made quick time to get to the GZ just before dark. The find was made quickly by my son and I.
Bench was wet so we opted not to use it. :) TFTC
